Media Release, Wellnomics Ltd, December 1-2008: Health and safety software company Wellnomics is now selling and supporting its market-leading WorkPace® product throughout Europe from a new office in the Netherlands.

“The Netherlands is recognised worldwide as a best practice leader in office ergonomics, and the central location is ideal for our planned expansion into the wider European region,” says Dr Kevin Taylor, Managing Director of Wellnomics.

“We feel it is important that we have a base closer to the market and our primary customers, as well as key business partners such as the TNO Research Institute.

“TNO's research provided the basis for Wellnomics to develop our new Wellnomics® Risk Management product, which allows existing WorkPace® clients to streamline their office ergonomics programmes by adding the latest functions for reporting on computer use, plus web-based risk inventorisation and evaluation (RIE).”

Wellnomics is recognized as a world leader in the development of software to assist office computer users, and is the developer of the WorkPace® ergonomic stretch break software.

"The move to set up its own local office underlines the importance of the Netherlands market for Wellnomics". It allows WorkPace® and Wellnomics® Risk Management customers to be supported directly by the company that pioneered software to manage and prevent computer use related injuries. Clients will be supported through Wellnomics Ltd’s local Dutch subsidiary Wellnomics BV.

Dr Taylor, one of the inventors of WorkPace® has relocated to the Netherlands to help supervise the launch of the European office.

Dr Taylor says that although former WorkPace® Netherlands reseller ErgoDirect is no longer reselling and supporting the WorkPace® and Wellnomics® Risk Management products, Wellnomics thanks ErgoDirect for the work they have done for customers over the years.

“This is an exciting time for our company to build on the worldwide base we have developed with WorkPace and we look forward to further enhancing our service offerings in Europe and working directly with our many Netherlands customers.”

Dr Taylor stated that all valid support and maintenance contracts with existing WorkPace® customers will be honoured by Wellnomics BV.
