AMSTERDAM, Netherlands March 19, 2003 – Niche Software Limited today officially released the new WorkPace 3.0 in Europe at a special launch congress in the Amsterdam Arena.
Three-hundred health and safety professionals and clients were invited to attend the unveiling of the new version at the mini congress. The congress, aimed at providing organizations with a comprehensive approach to implementing a health and safety policy for computer users, is a first for WorkPace in the Netherlands.
“The Netherlands is a very progressive country when it comes to looking after its workforce. It has taken steps to ensure the health and safety of its computer users with regulations that limit overuse and encourage sensible work habits. Because of this, many companies are existing users of WorkPace,” says Dr Kevin Taylor, CEO, Niche Software.
Dr Taylor said that WorkPace was the market leader in the Netherlands and credited this to the software’s development based on sound scientific research and client feedback.
Speakers at the congress will address a variety of issues including trends in RSI research and workplace requirements for computer users.
