November 27, 2007 - PREMUS 2007 is the sixth International Scientific Conference on Prevention of Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders and is held every three years. Its is the pre-eminent forum for the world's experts and researchers on musculoskeletal disorders to present their findings and the latest research in the field.
At the conference Wellnomics presented a research paper on the analysis of one of the largest known datasets on computer use information to date. The data covering over 50,000
office workers from 95 organisations and 5 countries, showed results for average computer use and mouse use are quite different from the levels commonly expected.
This data is important in setting baselines for safe levels of computer use and in creating baselines for future studies.
This paper has now been released publicly - see link below to view a full copy.
